Mr Joseph Aloba, the father of the late singer, Ileriolwa Promise aka Mohbad, has been reportedly relocated to Ikeja by the General Overseer of Apata Ayeriaye C & S Church, Prophetess Kehinde Osoba.
Quest Times spotted this in a now-viral video that captured the father of the twenty-seven-year-old deceased artiste being given a haircut at a barbing salon.
The initiative to move him out of his Ikorodu residence was in light of the purported neglect of the singer’s dad.
The clip shared by Temiloa Sobola on Instagram held the caption: “Prophetess Osoba moved Mohbad’s dad from Ikorodu to Ikeja. It’s so obvious that people have neglected him.
“Forget his shortcomings, he sacrificed so much for his son. God bless you ma for this good deed.”
The prophetess explained that well-meaning individuals who desired to reach out to Mr Aloba stayed away from Ikorodu out of concern for the gangs of street boys while recounting the incident involving Cute Abiola, OGB Recent, and others who were bullied by Ikorodu youths during Mohbad’s funeral.

Unrestrained, netizens hit the comment section to affirm the Prophetess’ opinion, thanking her for the humanitarian act towards Imole’s dad and commending Mr Aloba for being a good father. See comments below:

acysesay: “He was there for his son even when none of us knew Mohbad as an artist so please let’s just leave everything to thy maker and allow justice to prevail sooner or later karma will take it full cause.”
official_akinkolapo: “No matter what, he’s a good Father to raise his son without his mother.”

thekingshubart: “I’m seeing so many comments here and it baffles me how people have become so mean… I don’t pray something like this happens to anyone, because you can’t explain the man’s pain… You think he’s all happy with himself having haircut? Even if they should give him a car now, it doesn’t end the level of his heart pain… Don’t forget that no matter happy you might get during the bright day, night is coming when you’d be left with your thoughts and no one would hear what your heart is crying out… Allow this man to have peace… Jesus is love”
spirals_hair: “Honestly he’s a good father, some fathers will abandon their children once the mother leaves.”
thefirstladyomorewa: “God bless him..he deserves to be in that house Imole mum is living in now, he truly raised him well, values and moral is seen in Imole’s life, he deserves to enjoy everything that boy has left behind to be honest … if not for those doing rubbish interviews with him, Nigerians will not throw ha*te on him like that because obviously they were pushing him to say those things to make Nigerians aware of the situation but not the right time to do such. those interviews has cost this man the hate he’s getting ..but he’s a good father”
milathefaithful: “A truly loving father, definitely not perfect, and no one is. God bless you, sir”
