A biopic movie titled “Enoch” has been produced and released to mark the 81st birthday of Pastor E.A Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God.
The movie, which was produced by Solid Rock Foundations and Mount Zion Film Productions, chronicles the inspiring life, calling, and ministry of Pastor Adeboye.
According to Executive Producer Kemi Sodeinde, the movie’s concept was inspired by the Holy Spirit. The story was written by Evangelist Damilola Mike-Bamiloye.
Sodeinde revealed in an interview that she got approval from Pastor Adeboye before she began production. She approached him with the idea in September 2020, and in 2021, he gave her written approval to go ahead with the movie.
“In September 2020, after our annual Women’s convention, I got the inspiration to produce a biopic movie on Pastor E.Adeboye and I approached Daddy GO with my intentions, and in 2021 he gave me written approval, to go ahead to produce the movie.
“It was an assurance that indeed the inspiration was from God. That God indeed is faithful to His words and that when He gives an assignment He will see to it that He brings it to pass,” she said.
The production of the movie took six months to complete. It showcases the journey of Pastor Adeboye from a Mathematics professor to a global icon in the Christian community. The movie is expected to inspire and motivate viewers to pursue their dreams and fulfill their God-given calling.
The release of the biopic movie on Pastor E.A Adeboye is a fitting tribute to his remarkable life and legacy. It serves as a reminder of the power of faith, perseverance, and determination in overcoming life’s challenges and achieving one’s dreams.
