Elon Musk recently revealed in a social media post that his much-talked-about cage fight proposal with Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg is set to be live-streamed on social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter.
The two tech moguls have been playfully goading each other into a mixed martial arts (MMA) cage match in Las Vegas since June.
In his X post on Sunday morning, Musk announced, “Zuck v Musk fight will be live-streamed on X. All proceeds will go to charity for veterans,” without divulging further details about the event.

Earlier that day, Musk shared on X that he was diligently “lifting weights throughout the day, preparing for the fight,” humorously revealing that he even brings the weights to work since he has no time to work out separately.

When questioned by a user on X about the purpose of the fight, Musk replied, “It’s a civilized form of war. Men love war.”
Meta, formerly known as Facebook, has not responded to a Reuters request for comment regarding Musk’s post.
The playful banter between Musk and Zuckerberg began on June 20 when Musk expressed his willingness for a cage match with the 39-year-old Zuckerberg, who is trained in jiujitsu.
In response, Zuckerberg asked Musk to “send location” for the proposed showdown, to which Musk suggested the “Vegas Octagon,” a reference to a venue known for hosting MMA championship bouts. Musk jokingly added that he would start training in preparation for the potential cage fight.
