Amid the security hitches in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, the Body of Benchers, rising from a meeting, has changed the venue of the Call to Bar Ceremony for successful aspirants scheduled to hold on Wednesday, July 27.
The ceremony which was originally scheduled to hold at the premises of the Nigerian Law School, Bwari has been moved to the body of Benchers Secretariat Behind EFCC New Headquarters, JABI (Plot 688, Institute & Research District FCC, Phase 111, Abuja, FCT).

This was contained in a statement signed on Tuesday by Daniel Manasseh Tela, the Secretary, Body of Benchers.
“Parents/Guardians/Friends of the aspirants and the general public should take note that the ceremony is strictly for the aspirants, therefore only the aspirants will be granted access to the venue.
“There will be live coverage of the event on Channels Television as well as live streaming on YouTube.
“All aspirants are expected to be seated by 10am.
“We regret all inconveniences caused by the change of venue,” the statement read.
Reports had claimed that some suspected terrorists plan to attack government facilities within the FCT.
This follows the terror attack on the presidential guard brigade on Monday along Kubwa-Bwari road, hours after video of some terrorists threatening to kidnap President Buhari went viral.
