Below are tweets we are monitoring:
Unapologetic Dedenkwa (@Isinku_na_Isu) “When we call out Buhari cluelessness, people think its because we hate him. NIN-SIM will only be used by Daura secret service to intimidate ppl criticizing this govt. If banks can’t trace criminal transfers from victims accounts, I laugh in Nin-Sim. Can they track WhatsApp call.”
Reno Omokri (@renoomokri) “Instead of threatening Nigerians with NIN-SIM card registration linkage, that terrorist, Isa Pandemic, should save his threats for his fellow terrorists who are using their phones to call families of abducted victims of the Abuja-Kaduna rail to demand for ransoms!”
Ayodeji Daniel (@AyoteeA) “How will bandits be able to reach kidnapped victims’ relatives bayii? If they haven’t done NIN-SIM linkage FG is so fucking clueless, house dey burn, FG dey construct gutter.”
Daniel Regha (@DanielRegha) “Govt is quick to reportedly stop people who haven’t done their “NIN-SIM registration” from making calls, but can’t use the same NIN-SIM link to track Kaduna- Abuja train bandits who have been making calls? Isn’t this a shameful & misplaced priority? Nigerians don’t have leaders.”
Sir David Onyemaizu (@SirDavidBent) “The NIN-SIM linkage is still not relevant. Barring over 72 million subscribers will only affect the service providers and cut down their profits. Also, it won’t prevent any insecurity. Most Nigerians are not ready for government policies that only put a strain on them.”
