Some Nigerians in London have protested against the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who was at the Royal Institute of International Affairs also known as Chatham House, United Kingdom.
The protesters on Monday chanted various songs such as “Tinubu Ole, thief , criminal, no to drug baron in Nigeria” as they all gather at the entrance of the Chatham house.
In the three minutes viral video, they kicked against Tinubu’s participation in the forthcoming elections.
The All Progressives Congress presidential candidate is in the UK as part of activities in preparation for the 2023 poll.
He spoke at the Chatham House, London, on his ‘Renewed Hope Agenda’ on Monday (today).
The APC candidate spoke on his plans for security, economy and foreign policy at the UK’s elite foreign and policy think-tank institution.
He was accompanied by the House of Representatives Speaker, Femi Gbajabiamila, Jigawa and Kaduna States Governors, Abubakar Badaru, Nasir El-Rufai and the former Ekiti State Governor Kayode Fayemi.
Tinubu had in his manifesto, indicated an intention to establish a bold and assertive policy capable of creating a robust architecture to effectively tackle terrorism, banditry, kidnapping and other forms of criminal activities causing havoc in the country.
