Bishop David Oyedepo, the founder of Living Faith Church, also known as Winner’s Chapel, has urged worshippers to vote in the presidential and National Assembly elections for leaders who will save the country from its current plight.
Bishop Oyedepo stated this on Sunday at the church headquarters in Lagos, saying he was for Nigeria’s peace and stability, adding that he would never be partisan because political party founders are in his church.
He said “I have my sons who are founders of parties, everyone is free to join a party, but if you do not join the well- being of this nation you are a problem.
“It will take an emergency intervention to revive this nation in gross distress. This week is decisive, so vote wisely.”
Addressing the church on things to look out for in a candidate, he said “you do not need to be a billionaire to be a president, you need capacity, you need character and we have them in every part of the country.”
