The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has uncovered and sealed off an illegal petroleum products dump in Abuja.

Olusola Odumosu, spokesman of NSCDC who made this known on Sunday in a post on his agency’s Facebook post, noted that it has been sealed.
Odumosu, asserted that the discovery and sealing of the illegal oil dump was made by the Commandant General’s Special Intelligence Squad.
He said, “over 54,000 liters of suspected vandalised, illegally refined and adulterated Automotive Gas Oil, one pumping machine, one generator, two surface tanks containing suspected adulterated and illegally refined AGO were recovered.

“Two empty surface tanks, four empty trucks, one truck containing suspected vandalised, illegally refined and adulterated AGO, two drums of AGO, two different waybills, two different vehicle plates, one pump action, one dane-gun and six cartridges were recovered,” the post reads.
