Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has checked into hospital for a surgical procedure on his leg, the nation’s number two citizen and his spokesperson, Laolu Akande, have disclosed.
“VP Osinbajo is in the hospital today for a surgical procedure on account of a recurrent pain in the leg possibly sustained from an injury while playing squash. His doctors would give an update of the treatment later today,” Laolu Akande, who is Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media & Publicity, Office of the Vice President, tells Quest Times.
The vice president has also taken to his social media pages to share the following: “I have been admitted today at the hospital for a surgical procedure on account of a recurrent pain in the leg possibly sustained from an injury while playing squash.”
