In a dramatic turn of events, Shina Peller, an aspirant of the just-concluded Oyo North senatorial primary on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, has been seen in a trending video cursing his rival, Abdulfatai Buhari, who was declared winner of the election.
Peller, who represents lseyin/ltesiwaju/Kajola/lwajowa federal constituency came in a distant third after scoring a miserable five votes to lose to Buhari, who won with a landslide (570 votes).
Ayotunde Olowofoyeku, chairman of the election committee, who declared the result on Sunday, said Saheed Yusuf came second with six votes.

Adeboyin Oladokun came fourth after Peller with four votes, while Sola Ogunbode had no vote.
The total number of accredited voters was 592, with seven votes declared invalid.
In a video obtained by Quest Times Monday, Peller who was disappointed by his loss said in a Yoruba parlance “the ticket won by Abdulfatai Buhari would ‘liquidate’ in his hands before the election”, invoking God’s name to support his assertion.
He said the Oke-Ogun people have been held captive by Buhari and said God will free the people.
He also said the Electoral Act allows a seven-month campaign window, hinting that he may seek election on another party platform.
