On Saturday, the funeral service took place at the same headquarters, drawing attendees from various walks of life. To conclude the funeral, a thanksgiving service is scheduled for Sunday at the church.
Pastor Taiwo Odukoya, who passed away at the age of sixty-seven on August 7th, 2023, in the United States, endured the loss of his South African wife, Nomthi Odukoya, at the age of forty-seven in November 2021, after a two-year battle with cancer.
The couple was married for eleven years and had two children. Odukoya’s first wife, Bimbo, tragically lost her life in the Sosoliso plane crash in 2005, and their union resulted in three children, including Jimmy, known for his role in Netflix’s “Woman King” movie.
