President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has given the approval for the inclusion of four new faces in the National Council on Privatization (NCP). This move is aimed at enhancing the private sector’s representation in the Council.
The announcement came through a statement released on Thursday by Ajuri Ngelale, the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, underscoring the significance of this decision.
The newly appointed members and their respective regions are:
- Oluwole Osin – South-West
- Mohammed Mustapha Bintube – North-East
- Olayiwola Yahaya – North-Central
- Akwa Effion Okon – South-South
President Tinubu has called upon these individuals, urging them to leverage their rich private sector backgrounds to ensure that the investments made on behalf of Nigerians yield the highest value and impact.
