Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, SAN, has sent greetings and prayers to all Muslim faithful in commemoration of the Eid-el-Kabir celebration.
A statement on Saturday by his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Laolu Akande, quoted Osinbajo as saying: “I wish all our Muslim brothers and sisters across the country a joyful Eid celebration.
“In this season, may the bonds of friendship, charity, the chords of love, service and commitment to our country be renewed and strengthened amongst all Nigerians.”

In related news, Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi has called on the people of the state to use the period of Eid-el-Kabir to pray for adequate rainfall.
Mohammed made the call in his goodwill message to the people of Bauchi on the occasion of the 2022 Eid-el-Kabir celebration.
According to him, rainfall is necessary in order to have a bumper harvest in the state during this farming season.
