Arise Television anchor Oseni Rufai, has challenged the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (Bola Tinubu) to grant his television station a live interview like other frontline presidential candidates have done.
Rufai is one of the anchors of the popular “Morning Show” on Arise News TV.
According to the journalist, the show hosts (Reuben Abati, Tundun Abiola and himself) are eagerly awaiting the APC flag-bearer to grant them a live chat like they have had with the other leading candidates–Peter Obi of Labour Party, Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party and Rabiu Kwankwaso of the New Nigeria Peoples Party.
Rufai made the request in a tweet on Wednesday.
“We eagerly await the APC presidential candidate for an interview on AriseTV. We have had Obi, Atiku, Kwankwaso, Sowore, and others. We will like to hear his ideas for Nigeria and chat about them!,” he tweeted.

Tinubu, who owns TV Continental (TVC) has been accused of dodging live television interviews since he declared for the presidential race in January.
He has also gone missing from public events attended by other presidential contestants. Tinubu was missing from an annual conference organised by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and the Peace Accord signing ceremony in Abuja.
