Sex dreams or wet dreams are considered normal. They are also quite common, especially among young adults between the ages of 15 and 30.
More than 70% of people report experiencing a sex dream at least once in their lifetime.
Speaking on the medical aspect of sex dreams, Dr Zainab Sulaiman, a medical researcher said “it is a normal phenomenon to have sex dreams”.

According to her, “the phenomenon is depending on the degree of attack, which is known by several names including sleep paralysis and night terror, which results from an unwanted visit by spirit entities known generally as night visitors or otherwise, Incubi and Succubi“.
“Research suggests that sleeping in the prone position — meaning on your stomach — could cause you to have sexual or lustful dreams.
“Why this link exists is unclear, though. But if you want to test the theory, lay on your belly in bed before you go to sleep,” she opined.
