Popular Hollywood actor Johnny Depp has decided to donate the $1 million settlement he received from his estranged ex-wife, Amber Heard, after their marriage ended.
According to a report by CNN, Depp will distribute the money equally among five charitable organizations, with each organization receiving $200,000.
The selected charities are as follows: Make-A-Film Foundation, The Painted Turtle, Red Feather, Marlon Brando’s Tetiaroa Society charity, and the Amazonia Fund Alliance. The Make-A-Film Foundation focuses on assisting children who are battling life-threatening or serious illnesses, while The Painted Turtle provides a transformative camp experience for sick children at no cost.
