Erika de Rosario, the daughter of Samuel Eto’o, the President of the Cameroon Football Federation, is seeking legal action against her father, demanding that he be jailed.
The former football striker allegedly failed to fulfill his responsibility of paying her a monthly allowance of €1,400 for a period of five years.
Erika is the daughter of Eto’o’s former partner, Adileusa de Rosario, with whom he had a relationship during his time as a Real Madrid player in the 1990s. However, it wasn’t until February 2022 that Eto’o officially recognized Erika as his daughter.

As part of the acknowledgment, Eto’o was supposed to provide a monthly allowance to support Erika financially, considering her fragile economic condition. Unfortunately, according to Erika’s lawyer, Fernando Osuna, Eto’o has failed to make these payments for five years, resulting in an outstanding debt of almost €90,000 owed to his daughter.
Osuna has accused Eto’o of defying justice and living a life of luxury while neglecting his financial obligations to Erika.
The case is set to be heard in a trial in Madrid, with Erika seeking justice for her situation and alleging that Eto’o’s economic superiority over her justifies the possibility of him being judged with the aggravating circumstance of abuse of power.
