Social media users have continued to castigate a post credited to the detained student of the Federal University, Dutse, Jigawa State, Aminu Adamu, where he appeared to support the gruesome killing of Deborah Samuel.
Recall that Deborah, a female student of the Shehu Shagari College of Education, was burnt to death by a mob of Muslims in May, over an alleged blasphemy of Prophet Mohammed.
Adamu has been locked up by First Lady Aisha Buhari for calling her “fat” in a tweet.
In a recent tweet that surfaced on Thursday morning, Adamu posted a picture of a T-shirt with Deborah’s picture on it, writing in Hausa; ‘Duk Wanda yasa wannan rigar ah Bauchi sai munchi uwarsa’, which means “Anyone that wears this shirt in Bauchi, we will deal with them.”
SavvyRinu wrote, “Supporting the injustice against Aminu because he threatened people about the death of Deborah is not “Karma.” Injustice is injustice, whether it happens to the people who you think deserve it or not. Human rights are inalienable.”
@firstladyship wrote, “Aminu rejoiced over Deborah’s death. What kind of indoctrination is that? Why inherit the hate of your
forefathers? Until Nigeria happens to u, u won’t realize how crazy that jungle is. I hope he learn from this? Karma, Religion & Tribalism are weapons fashioned against u, only.”
@Elkrosmediahub wrote, “Aminu’s foolish reaction to the gruesome murder of Deborah isn’t an excuse for what the First Lady did to
him tho. Just putting it out there.”
@Nkemchor wrote, “Deborah was a young woman with a promising future and DID NOT deserve to die. Knowing Aminu’s stance on that issue now it’s difficult to feel empathy for him. I hope we eventually reach that point where we understand that the evil in Nigeria doesn’t know tribe or religion.”
