The Leader Of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has issued a warning, following the deteriorating state of the economy.
Primate Ayodele noted that some governors and senators will be stoned if care is not taken and necessary measures put in place to salvage the economic downturn.
The clergyman gave the warning during an interview with Tribune on Sunday.

When asked if Nigerians should be hopeful about the economy, Primate Ayodele answered; “I can still see the prices of foodstuffs skyrocketing.
“The price of diesel will also skyrocket. I warned some time ago that there would be a protest about the economy; there was a protest. Economic hardship is still imminent. Some governors and senators will be stoned. If there is no stability in the economy, nothing will work.
“Some banks will run into trouble. If care is not taken, the forthcoming election might be changed. I am seeing hardship on Nigerians.”
He also warned Nigerians about the imminent global economic crisis, saying Africa will be most affected.
“We are still going to experience global economic crisis. Africa will suffer more from the global economic crisis.”
