There was mild drama on Thursday as the presidential candidate of the African Action Congress, Omoyele Sowore, knocked his counterpart in the All the Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, for failing to show up at the venue for the peace accord signing which was held at the International Conference Centre in Abuja.
Quest Times had earlier reported that Tinubu was absent while other presidential candidates for the 2023 elections were present at the signing of the peace accord.
In a video that went viral on Thursday, Sowore seemed to have caused a drama at the venue, as he maintained that Tinubu’s running mate, Kashim Shettima, should not be sitting where presidential candidates were seated.

In the video, Sowore was also seen engaging the presidential candidate of the Action Alliance and former Chief Security Officer to late General Sani Abacha, Major Hamza Al-Mustapha (retd.).
“I confronted him (Shettima). Why is he sitting here when Tinubu is not here? If I was sitting there, I would not stand up for him, because Tinubu is the one who is supposed to be here. You can’t be running in Nigeria for presidency in absentia,” Sowore said.
