The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, delisted no fewer than one million newly registered voters.
Quest Times had earlier reported that INEC removed the affected voters following the verification process and ‘’clean up’’ of its register.
According to the commission, those affected are new registrants between June 2021 and January 2022.

It was gathered that 2,523,458 Nigerians registered during the period.

The most affected State is Bayelsa with 67.1% invalid, followed by Ebonyi (60.1% invalid). While Lagos and FCT had the least number of affected voters, having recorded 28.4% and 34.1% invalid respectively.
