Nigerian singer Davido has fired back at the allegations made by former President of the Nigeria Football Federation, Amaju Pinnick, that he refused to show up at an event in Warri, Delta State, despite being paid an excess of $94,600 (about N72 million).
Davido in a series of posts on his social media handle, appeared to shade Pinnick and brag about his popularity and influence. He wrote in one of the posts:
“Throwing stones but u dey live for glass house.”
Throwing stones but u Dey live for glass house …

This is a Nigerian proverb that means that someone should not criticize others when they have their own flaws.
The singer in another post, wrote, “Nobody can stop me from performing anywhere in Nigeria… Warri I will see you soon.”
Davido also posted a picture of the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, logo with the caption, “Make I no talk.”
