President Bola Tinubu has given his approval for the appointment of twelve individuals to serve on the Federal Civil Service Commission (FCSC).
As per a statement released by President Tinubu’s spokesperson, Ajuri Ngelale, on Friday, these appointments are subject to confirmation by the Nigerian Senate.
Upon confirmation, the newly appointed FCSC members are set to assume their roles from November 30, 2023, coinciding with the conclusion of the current Federal Civil Service Commission Chairman and membership’s tenure on November 29, 2023.
Ngelale also highlighted that the President envisions the new FCSC leadership as competent facilitators in driving the transformation, reorientation, and digitization of the Federal Bureaucracy. The goal is to promote and not hinder growth and increase private sector involvement in the development of the Nigerian economy, all in alignment with the Renewed Hope Agenda of his administration.
