CSU Complies with Court Order, Releases President Tinubu’s Academic Records to Atiku
Chicago State University (CSU) has fulfilled a court order to disclose President Bola Tinubu’s academic records in response to Atiku Abubakar’s request, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate in the 2023 elections. Atiku, standing firm on the court’s previous ruling, pressed for the release of Tinubu’s records before October 3, 2023, in preparation for the Supreme Court hearing on October 5.
CSU has now provided Atiku with Tinubu’s academic records, which include a sample of certificates issued to graduates in 1979. Notably, the sample differs significantly from the one Tinubu submitted to INEC, even featuring a distinct logo.
Peter Obi Files Appellants’ Brief of Arguments Against Tinubu At The Supreme Court
The Labour Party (LP) and its 2023 presidential candidate, Peter Obi, have officially submitted their Appellants’ Brief of Arguments to the Supreme Court, advancing their challenge to President Bola Tinubu’s victory in the February 25th Nigerian election.
Kenneth Okonkwo, a prominent party member and actor, announced this development via the X platform on Tuesday, expressing their reliance on divine intervention. The appeal stems from the Court of Appeal’s decision on September 6, 2023, regarding Obi and the Labour Party’s petition against Tinubu’s win, presenting 51 grounds of appeal. Respondents in the case include INEC, Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Senator Kashim Shettima, and the APC.
Chelsea Triumphs in West London Derby, Ending Goal Drought
In a thrilling West London derby, Chelsea triumphed with a 2-0 victory over Fulham in the Premier League. Mykhailo Mudryk, showcasing his prowess, netted his first goal for Chelsea, while Armando Broja, celebrating his full return from injury, found the target as well.
Chelsea, under Mauricio Pochettino, had been struggling to find the net, enduring a goal drought in their previous three league games. They had only managed to score five goals in six league matches this season before their clash with Fulham.
However, the tide turned within two first-half minutes. In the 18th minute, Ukraine’s Mudryk skillfully chested down a cross from Levi Colwill and beat Fulham’s goalkeeper, Bernd Leno. Just a minute later, Broja capitalized on the host’s defensive lapse, securing a comfortable lead.
Mudryk, who joined Chelsea nine months ago, celebrated his long-awaited goal, while Broja, stepping in for the suspended Nicolas Jackson, marked his return to the starting lineup after recovering from a knee injury sustained at the end of 2022.
Keyamo Reacts to Tinubu’s Academic Records Revelation
The Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Fetus Keyamo, has responded to the recent disclosure of President Bola Tinubu’s academic records by Chicago State University (CSU). Keyamo called upon the 2023 Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, to issue an apology to Tinubu and the Nigerian public for the humiliation.
Keyamo emphasized that Atiku’s efforts to expose Tinubu’s credentials during his journey to Chicago have proven fruitless. According to Keyamo, “ATIKU’s journey to Chicago has been an exercise in self-humiliation. President Tinubu and Nigerians deserve an unreserved apology from him.” CSU’s release of Tinubu’s academic records followed a U.S. court order in support of Atiku’s petition challenging the 2023 presidential poll results.
Governor Siminalayi Fubara Triumphs as Tribunal Dismisses Election Petitions
Governor Siminalayi Fubara emerged victorious as the Rivers State Governorship Election Petition Tribunal, convened in Abuja, dismissed multiple petitions challenging his election. The tribunal upheld the Independent National Electoral Commission’s declaration of Fubara, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, as the rightful winner of the March 18 gubernatorial election.
The three-member tribunal justified their decision by citing the withdrawal of the All Progressives Congress (APC) from the lawsuit against Fubara, effectively rendering it void. Additionally, petitions from the Labour Party (LP) and the Accord Party (AP) were also dismissed.
