Here are some reactions to the departure of Peter Obi from the PDP:
@renoomokri Did I not say it? If PDP had fielded @PeterObi, they would have LOST big time. His online followers made him too toxic in every region except the Southeast. They know themselves. Insulting and threatening. As if only their votes could have made him President! #TableShaker
@MarinatedTurks Mocking Peter Obi that wants to salvage the country?? If it’s only me, i will tell him to go and rest make Nigerians suffer more. Na suffering dem dey enjoy pass. That’s how they voted a primary 6 graduate in as president “i am for nobody” Baba go slow, na reverse riding
@Son_of_Yeshua Peter Obi is a MOVEMENT not a mere candidate of a party. If not for Peter Obi, who send @OfficialPDPNig? Light over darkness!
@official_iphy PDP lost Peter Obi, Ike Ekweremmadu & Sen Abaribe, all in one day.

@obi_Nwosu A PDP delegate described Peter Obi as “annoying” because was sharing his plans for a better Nigeria instead of sharing dollars. They plotted to humiliate him during the primaries and he saw through their tricks. He has abandoned the party for them. Tueeeeh
@Letter_to_Jack Peter Obi realized his chances in the PDP were close to zero because of the way of the delegates. He made the right decision.
@DavidHundeyin In the ongoing campaign cycle, there is only ONE candidate from the challenger party who has demonstrated the ability to inspire voters to come out, and his name is Peter Obi. Winning a challenger election is about taking risks and inspiring action, not lazy horse trading!
