A yet-to-be-identified Nigerian woman has called out the United Bank for Africa, UBA, after a sum of N1million was allegedly debited from her account “within 30 minutes”.
According to her, the transaction was done “through OPay POS on a fateful Friday (date undisclosed)” and she reported the matter to the bank but all to no avail, as her money was not refunded.
In a video clip obtained by Quest Times, the woman who spoke in Yoruba was heard calling out the bank for not being able to find a solution to her predicament.

“On the norm, I can’t withdraw beyond N150,000 on POS daily but they removed N1,000 000 from my account within 30 minutes.
“I came to report the matter to my bank (UBA) and I was told there is nothing they could do to salvage the situation. They could have at least stopped the transaction even within the period I was in the bank hall if they wanted to.
“I reported the matter on Friday but was told to go to their headquarters that they are the one that can rectify the issue,” she alleged.
She also claimed reporting the issue to OPay where the transaction was fraudulently carried out as alleged, but all to no avail.
