The Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, has said the All Progressive Congress (APC) Presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, cannot be separated from the failures or successes of President Muhammadu Buhari in the last eight years.
He said the scorecard of Buhari in the last eight years is inseparable from “Project Tinubu” since Tinubu is coming from the ruling APC and not from another party.
Mohammed said all of Tinubu’s campaigns should be based on what the APC has achieved in the last eight years.
Speaking on a TVC live programme, Mohammed said if Tinubu’s party, after spending eight years in power, cannot campaign on what the party has achieved, there is no point telling Nigerians to vote for him.
“Tinubu’s campaign should be based on the successes of the APC if he wants to continue asking Nigerians for vote for him,” he said.
He also spoke on measures being taken by the federal government to curb fake news and restore sanity to the media space.
