One of the presidential aspirants in the All Progressives Congress, Adamu Garba, has resigned from the party, hours after withdrawing from the presidential race.
Quest Times earlier reported that Garba withdrew from contesting the party’s presidential ticket following the high cost of expression of interest and nomination forms.
In a recent development, the Crowwe App developer said he is no longer a member of the APC, while alleging that the party “has no credible and practical plans for the future of Nigeria.”

Adamu Garba who spoke in a 2-minute video clip obtained by Quest Times, also noted that the ruling party has deviated from its original blueprint to what he termed “propaganda statements,” which he believes contradicts public trust.
“I write to formally notify you to resign my membership in the All Progressives Congress (APC).Â
“My resignation was due to the fact that APC as a party has lost its moral bearing which is against standard democratic tenets.
“More importantly as a young man who believes in the future of Nigeria and has had hiccups in APC before now, I can no longer continue to be a member of a party that favours money beyond competency, vested interests beyond common interests, and politics of exclusion beyond inclusion.
“I do not believe, in all honesty, with the consciousness, that any young man in Nigeria has a future or model worthy of emulation for the benefits of Nigeria in APC,” Adamu Garba was partly quoted in the video.
