Scores of Air Peace passengers enroute Lagos-Abuja flight were on Monday stranded for over two hours.
The flight schedule was 7:00am but the flight was delayed as the passengers stormed the airline tickets desk around 9:30am to complain.
The passengers were seen in a video protesting over the flight delayed demanding for refunds of their airfares immediately at Air Peace counter.

A staff of the airline who claimed to be the manager on duty was seen appealing to the passengers saying “Hello Sir, this is Civil Aviation airport we know the right thing we know the customers rights. We know everything that needed to be done. This is two hours and we’ll serve lite refreshments and after like four hours that’s when compensation will come.
But the passengers in rowdy voices were saying ” let us write our names for compensation, we’re over two hours now. You have been doing away with this, we will put you in the news, so when you get to court you will be talking about two hours?
Another passenger queried him “Are you making the decision or you allow your manager to do it?” He replied “I’m the SOP the manager on duty” as passenger then asked him to provide evidence where it says two hours.
The passenger accused him that the airline standard Operating is Internal as we’re talking about rules so what rules provide for that and he was telling them to make inquiry.

One of the passengers stressed “We’re not going to say you insult us because it’s not your fault it’s the fault of your managers.”
“You guys get away with a lot but it’s not fair call the manager and tell him the situation. You know about this and you were collecting money and people were buying tickets.”
The staff seen explaining “When we came here we check on the capacity of the airplanes and the passengers checked in. The number passengers were more than the flights on ground and you don’t do it because it will cause issue.”
A passenger was heard saying “You have a slug your flight failed us so are you talking to us like some market people?”
