Nigerian Entrepreneur and financier Atedo Peterside has weighed in on the controversy surrounding the All Eyes On Judiciary.
The “All Eyes on the Judiciary” campaign had raised concerns, coinciding with a period of heightened anticipation among Nigerians for the judgement of the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal. The campaign has stoked heated conversations among political stakeholders, leading it to become a trending hashtag on social media.
Peterside made his stance known in a statement on his X (Twitter) handle @AtedoPeterside, where he described it as a neutral campaign that shouldn’t offend any sincere person.
For the record, methinks #AllEyesOnTheJudiciary is a neutral slogan that should ordinarily not offend a right thinking & sincere person in a civilised society. I can understand someone rejecting a negative slogan like "Let us turn our noses up at the Judiciary". Enough said

His reaction follows the decision of the federal government to remove billboards featuring the slogan “All Eyes on the Judiciary” across the nation. The decision was prompted by concerns raised by the government about the sensitivity of the message, particularly given the ongoing legal proceedings before the Judiciary.
Also, the AdverÂtising Standard Panel (ASP) secretariat, responsible for approving the contentious advertisement, was dissolved by the FG. The announcement came through a statement made by Dr. Olalekan Fadolepo, who was the Director-General of the AdverÂtising Regulatory Council of Nigeria at the time.
Dr. Fadolepo had emphasized the insensitivity of the advert, considering the pending judicial matters. He had explained, “The AdvertisÂing Standards Panel did not give approval for the concepts presented in the advertisement. Consequently, the council has instructed the immediate removal of all materials associated with the campaign, and appropriate sanctions were to be imposed on those responsible for the violation.
