The Western Nigeria Security Network (WNSN), commonly known as Amotekun, has captured two individuals in Saki, Oyo State, accused of digging up a recently buried body’s head.
Quest Times reports that the security force took action on Tuesday, nabbing the man caught red-handed and his partner involved in the illicit act.
According to sources, one suspect went to the graveyard on Monday to unearth the head of a person buried that same day. The accomplice who assigned him the task has also been apprehended.
Both suspects are residents of Oba Abimbola Layout in Saki town, as disclosed by a source familiar with the matter.
“The middle-aged man was apprehended by Amotekun with the possession of two human heads. It happened yesterday afternoon,” said the source.
Colonel Olayinka Olayanju (retd), the State Commandant of Amotekun, confirmed the arrest of the suspects to reporters on Wednesday.
