Jude Bellingham was the star of the show as he notched a clinical brace, leading Real Madrid to a commanding 4-0 triumph over Osasuna and propelling Carlo Ancelotti’s squad back to the summit of LaLiga.
The 20-year-old midfielder has now scored 10 goals in 10 games equalling Madrid legend Cristiano Ronaldo’s tally set in 2008.
Bellingham found the net twice, once in each half, while Vinicius Junior and Joselu added to the tally as Madrid reclaimed the top spot from Girona, who secured a victory earlier in the day.
The Bernabeu erupted within the first nine minutes when Bellingham struck. Luka Modric orchestrated a brilliant move, finding Dani Carvajal’s run into the area. Carvajal cleverly laid the ball back to Bellingham, who, with a couple of deft touches, unleashed a left-footed shot into the roof of the net.
This marked Bellingham’s third goal in just eight days, further solidifying his remarkable start in Spain since his £88.5 million summer transfer from Borussia Dortmund.
However, that solitary goal was all that separated the teams in the first half. Madrid tried their luck with Vinicius’ shot that sailed over and an audacious Carvajal chip that was well saved by Osasuna’s goalkeeper Sergio Herrera.

Osasuna, on the other hand, showed minimal threat in the opening 45 minutes but nearly gave their hosts a scare just before halftime. Jon Moncayola’s long-range effort narrowly missed, and Ante Budimir squandered a golden opportunity to level in stoppage time. Lucas Torro left Ruben Pena’s cross for Budimir, who, despite being unmarked near the penalty spot, fired over.
Madrid came out firing in the second half, with Joselu coming close to doubling the lead, only to see his effort skim the far post. Bellingham, however, secured his brace in the 54th minute with a composed finish.
Joselu put the game to bed with a goal in the 65th minute, assisted by Vinicius, and the Brazilian winger turned provider, setting up Joselu for a fourth goal in the 69th minute.
Although Madrid had additional opportunities to extend their lead, the game was well and truly decided by then.
