The Director of Strategic Communication for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) 2023 Presidential campaign, Dele Momodu, has taken a swipe at the Presidential Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, describing him as a potential dictator.
Momodu made the remarks on Tuesday, October 25, 2022, when he appeared on Channels TV.
He said, “He (Tinubu) is the only governor I know who had two deputy governors and they both got into trouble.”
“I’m inferring dictatorship, nothing else. I will never support dictatorship. I suffered under dictatorship, I was in detention, and exile for three years.
“He is a potential dictator, let me use that word.”
Not done with the APC, he shifted his attention to the spokesperson for the APC presidential campaign, Festus Keyamo, who he described as an attack dog.
The Quest Times reports that Keyamo mockingly advised Momodu to stick to praise singing, after he had criticised Tinubu’s manifesto as an appropriation of MKO Abiola’s legacy.
“Festus Keyamo is an attack dog; he likes to yell. The moment they gave him this job of a minister, a minister where he has been less than competent, where everything is in shambles,” he said.
“If I was in his position I would have resigned.”
