According to Forbes, out of the 12 sport billionaires, only two are still active. These two are LeBron James and Tiger Woods.
LeBron’s net worth is estimated at $1 billion, and he is set to make over $124 million this year from his contracts and deals with various companies.
Despite being 38 years old, the LA Lakers star has no plans to retire next year as he wants to play alongside or against his son, Bronny, in the NBA.
“I need to be on the floor with my boy, I got to be on the floor with Bronny,” LeBron said.
“Either in the same uniform or a matchup against him. I don’t mean like [guarding one another all game], because he’s a point guard and I’m a, at this point now I’m playing center or whatever the team needs from me.
“But I would love to do the whole Ken Griffey Sr. and Jr. thing. That would be ideal for sure.
Tiger Woods has reportedly earned $1.7 billion in endorsements, winnings, and other income.
Woods will participate in his 25th Masters, a tournament from which he has come out victorious five times. Ahead of the Masters Woods has hinted at a possible retirement soon.
“I don’t know how many more I have in me,” he said.
