Abdullahi Ganduje, the newly appointed national chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), took charge of his inaugural National Working Committee (NWC) session on Tuesday.
This marked Ganduje’s debut as the head of the NWC meeting, following his ascendancy to the position of APC National Chairman.
The meeting was held at the party’s national secretariat in Abuja, the nation’s capital.

Ganduje’s appointment to the role of party chairman happened during a national executive committee (NEC) gathering held on August 3, in Abuja.
The party’s national secretary post was assumed by former Senate spokesperson, Ajibola Basiru.
This transition was prompted by the resignations of Abdullahi Adamu and Iyiola Omisore from their respective positions as APC National Chairman and National Secretary.
