This groundbreaking achievement not only celebrates Tope Maggie’s exceptional talent and determination, but also reaffirms Nigeria’s prominence in the global arena.
It reclaims the title of the longest continuous cooking marathon, which had recently been snatched from another Nigerian chef, Hilda Baci, after her impressive 93-hour record.
Quest Times notes that Tope Maggie born in Ogbomoso, is a graduate of Federal Polytechnic in Efe, Osun State, where he earned a degree in Hotel Management.
Renowned for managing a chain of restaurants in Ogbomoso, Tope Maggie inherited his passion for cooking and his endearing nickname from his mother.
The extraordinary cooking marathon took place at the Ogbomoso Recreation Club, situated opposite LAUTECH College of Health Sciences in Oyo State.
While Tope Maggie’s supporters have been overjoyed by the news of this remarkable achievement, the new record is still awaiting official confirmation by Guinness World Records.
