Renowned Nigerian comedian, Josh Alfred, better known by his stage alias Josh2Funny, has revealed the true purpose driving his recent appearance on the globally acclaimed television reality show, America’s Got Talent.
Rather than pursuing prizes and accolades, the versatile comedian chose to utilize the grand platform to showcase his unique comedic aptitude.
Josh2Funny, celebrated for his uproarious audition skits, catapulted his comedic prowess onto the global stage with a standout performance on the prestigious platform of America’s Got Talent.
During a recent conversation with Punch, he shed light on the genuine essence of his participation, revealing that the show’s organizers had orchestrated his presence solely to provide comic relief.
“I was invited to the show to do what I do. I went there to display ‘Josh2funny’, which is what my comedy is about.”
The 32-year-old comedian captivated the audience with three sidesplitting performances, embodying a rapid reader, a swift rapper, and a magician on the reality show.
Although a majority of the judges seemed puzzled by his comedic acts and rendered a “no” verdict in all three attempts, Simon delivered a “yes” on his final endeavor, praising Josh for his uproarious talents.
