The APC National Chairman, Alhaji Abdullahi Adamu, has announced Minister of Labour and Productivity (State), Festus Keyamo SAN as the newly appointed spokesperson of the party’s Presidential Campaign Organisation.
The announcement was made at the State House Abuja on Thursday, August 4, 2022, where Adamu presented Keyamo to President Buhari.
Adamu was accompanied by the presidential candidate of the APC, Sen. Bola Tinubu, alongside the vice presidential candidate of the party, Sen. Kashim Shettima.
In a tweet, Keyamo appreciated the party’s flagbearers for the appointment, saying, Special thanks to @officialABAT and @KashimSM for finding me worthy to lead the line in the APC 2023 Presidential Campaign Council as Official Spokesperson. I am humbled because both great leaders have been reputed to possess the uncanny ability to nurture mentees.

In a similar move, former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar and Presidential Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), announced Sen. Dino Melaye and Dr. Daniel Bwala as his spokespersons for the 2023 presidential campaign.
Abubakar, in a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Media, Paul Ibe in Abuja on Thursday, August 4, 2022, said that the appointment was with immediate effect.
Melaye, who hails from Ayetoro Gbede in the Ijumu Local Government Area of Kogi, was a member of the 8th Senate and represented Kogi West at the National Assembly.
Bwala, a trained lawyer who hails from Adamawa, until recently, served as a former aide to the Deputy President of the Senate, Sen Ovie Omo-Agege, before his appointment.
