Nigerian Afropop singer, Oluwatobiloba Daniel Anidugbe aka Kizz Daniel, has scored a feat with his newly released song, Buga.
His recent achievement sees Buga, which features Tekno, emerging the Most Shazamed song in the world.
The music platform made the announcement via its official Twitter account on May 19, 2022.

It also congratulated Kizz Daniel on the new milestone which has been achieved by only a few African acts.
“Big congrats to @KizzDaniel !! #Buga is the most Shazamed song in the world,” the tweet reads.
Shazam is a mobile phone application that can identify music, movies, advertising, and television shows, based on a short sample played. It uses the microphone on the device.
Shazam was created by London-based Shazam Entertainment, and has been owned by Apple Inc. since 2018.
In August 2021, Wizkid’s ‘Essence’ which features Tems, also achieved a similar feat of the most Shazamed song in the world.
Wizkid’s ‘Essence’ became the second African song to achieve that milestone in less than a year, after Master KG’s ‘Jerusalema’ became the most Shazamed song in the world in 2020.
Buga has been a Tik-Tok sensation since its release in early May.
