Recall that Mohbad died under controversial circumstances on September 12 at the age of 27. His family and many Nigerians have alleged that he was assaulted by fellow musicians Naira Marley and Primeboy, as well as socialite Sam Larry.
Coroner Magistrate Adedayo Shotobi had summoned Marley, Primeboy, and Larry to appear before the court on October 25 to testify in the inquest.
The court has also instructed the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department to ensure the presence of the trio at the hearing.
Mohbad’s family is hopeful that the inquest will shed light on their son’s death and ensure that those responsible are held accountable.
