Renowned singer and activist, Charles Oputa, commonly known as Charly Boy, has expressed concern about a critical issue overshadowed by the attention given to ailing actor, Zack Orji.
Quest Times reports that Zack Orji is currently in a serious condition, confined to the intensive care unit at the National Hospital in Abuja, battling for his life.
Sources close to the veteran actor revealed that he was admitted after collapsing in the bathroom, rendering him immobile.
Amidst this, Barrister Hannatu Musawa, Minister of Arts, Culture, and the Creative Economy, visited the hospital to check on Orji.
Musawa shared an update on the actor’s health, mentioning a recent brain surgery and calling for national support, emphasizing his significance to the country.
However, Charly Boy took to his Instagram page to argue that Nigeria is facing a more pressing terminal issue, one that the government is neglecting, while focusing on the actor’s situation.
He emphasized that Orji’s health, although important, is not the country’s foremost concern.
He then suggested exploring options, such as seeking medical assistance abroad for Zack Orji, highlighting the need for attention to the broader issues facing the nation.
