Vice President Yemi Osinbajo (SAN) has arrived in Ikenne, Ogun State, ahead of Saturday’s presidential and National Assembly elections.
This was confirmed today in a tweet by the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Laolu Akande, on his verified Twitter handle.
According to Akande, the Vice President also met with All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftains and community leaders in the run-up to the elections.
Osinbajo is expected to vote in Polling Unit 14, Egunrege, Ikenne Local Government Area, Ogun State, according to Akande.
The tweet reads: “Ahead of tomorrow’s national elections, VP Osinbajo arrives Ikenne this afternoon, holding series of meetings with APC and community leaders at his residence. He will be voting tomorrow at Polling Unit 14, Egunrege in Ikenne LGA.”
It should be noted that Osinbajo was also in Ikenne last week to launch key projects, including a 250-bed Mother and Child Hospital.
During the launch, he also interacted with key party figures.
