Party members say they have benefited from several initiatives of the vice president including schemes like MSME Clinics, Tech Hubs, N-Power etc.
One of them who identify as Mr. Bolu Adewale said: “I have never seen a Vice President since I have been following politics since 1999. I think Osinbajo is very different. He’s hardworking and passionate about the masses.”
He also said he’s benefited from a lot of things the VP has championed in the past, which explains why he joined other students to welcome the vice president to the city.
Another resident, Wale said: “If the APC wants to win the election next year, the ticket should go to Osinbajo. I will vote for him in Eagle Square as a party delegate myself when the time comes. If our party is smart enough, Osinbajo should be our presidential candidate.”
