The Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Kayode Egbetokun distributed over N2.2 billion to 613 families of deceased police officers. The funds, comprising the Life Assurance Scheme and IGP Family Welfare Scheme benefits, aim to provide financial relief to the families left behind.
