Saudi Arabia professional football club, Al Nassr, has sacked its head coach, Rudi Garcia.
The club announced on Thursday that it parted ways with Garcia by mutual agreement.
Reports say Garcia has become unpopular in a dressing room which includes Cristiano Ronaldo.
It was learnt that Garcia recently confronted some players, a move which was frowned at by the Saudi Pro League club, prompting the decision that led to his sack.
Garcia has also failed to meet the expectations set out in his club’s ambitious project.
With seven fixtures left to play this season, Al Nassr is currently in second place, three points behind Al Ittihad.
Recall that Ronaldo joined Al Nassr in December 2022.
