During an operation along the Aba-Owerri expressway in Imo State, the operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have intercepted and successfully rescued five pregnant teenage girls.
These young girls, named as Chioma Emmanuel (15 years old), Uma Faith (15 years old), Divine Adimonye (17 years old), Opara Gift (15 years old), and Amarachi Mbata (16 years old), are suspected victims of child trafficking who were believed to have been exploited as part of a baby factory operation.
According to reports, the victims were found in distress, claiming to have no knowledge of the men who impregnated them.
The NDLEA, in collaboration with other relevant authorities, has initiated an investigation team to unravel the circumstances surrounding this disturbing case. They are determined to identify those responsible for exploiting these vulnerable girls and ensure justice is served.
