Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) President, Ibrahim Gusau, has declared that the destiny of Super Eagles coach Jose Peseiro rests in the hands of Super Eagles fans.
Gusau made the statement while appearing on the LovingFootball radio show, acknowledging the criticisms voiced by fans regarding the Portuguese coach’s perceived lack of technical expertise.
Gusau disclosed, “We have the plan to push the votes to Nigerians to hear their views and thoughts.”

The NFF president further admitted that the organization had previously explored options of hiring both foreign and domestic coaches. However, he emphasized that finding the ideal candidate for the position has proven to be an immensely challenging endeavor.
“We’ve tried the foreign coaches and also the local coaches.
“Maybe we didn’t get it right in the area of getting the right person. We are going to push it to the public, whether we should continue with Peseiro or he should go,” Gusau added.
