Social media has erupted following the declaration of Vice President Yemi Osinbajo to contest for the presidency in the 2023 general elections under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
After denials and reports of false declarations, Prof Osinbajo finally made his presidential ambition known to the Nigerian public in a video message released on Monday, April 11, 2022.
Following Osinbajo’s declaration for the 2023 presidency, Nigerians took to social media in their numbers to back the VP, while others spoke out against his ambition.
They questioned why he should be trusted seeing as he’s a part of the Buhari administration which has been adjudged a failure by Nigerians. His supporters listed his achievements, stating there’s only so much he can do as Vice President.
