President Bola Tinubu has named Bayo Onanuga as his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy. In addition, Ms. Delu Bulus Yakubu has been appointed as the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation.
This announcement was made in a statement released on Friday by the President’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale.
The statement explained, “As part of the ongoing efforts to enhance effective collaboration and efficiency between the Presidency and various Federal Ministries, President Bola Tinubu has given his nod to the appointments of professionals who bring valuable prior experience in the relevant Federal Ministries. Their roles will also encompass tasks as directed by the President.”
The President expressed his best wishes for the new presidential aides as they undertake their duties.
Prior to this, President Tinubu had appointed a new board and management for the Federal Roads Maintenance Agency (FERMA). These appointees will serve for a renewable term of four (4) years, in accordance with Section 2(3) of the FERMA Amendment Act, 2007, as stated by Ajuri.
