President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of fresh and returning top executives for several agencies within the Ministry of Communications, Innovation, and Digital Economy.
According to the new development, Aminu Maida is stepping into the role of Executive Vice Chairman/CEO of the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), while Nkechi Egerton-Idehen takes the helm as Managing Director/CEO of the Nigerian Communications Satellite Limited (NIGCOMSAT).
Heading the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) is Kashifu Inuwa Abdullahi, and Dr. Vincent Olatunji will serve as the National Commissioner/CEO of the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC). Meanwhile, Tola Odeyemi is the newly appointed Postmaster General/CEO of the Nigerian Postal Service (NIPOST).
Also, President Tinubu has given his nod for the appointment of Idris Alubankudi as Special Adviser to the President on Technology and Digital Economy.
These appointments, in line with the President’s vision, take immediate effect.
